Exam Update:Mid-term-Exam

Just a reminder to let you know that the focus of the reading and the listening for the mid-term exam will be on the Skeletal System.

Among the words whose meaning you might want acquaint yourself with are:
appendicular, axial, biceps, buildup, calcium, cancellous, contract, dense, encases, extremities, fibres, girdle, inorganic, interaction, joints, ligaments, marrow, metacarpals, phorsphorus, replenish, rigid, spongy, sternum, storage, tendons, triceps, and vertibrae.

  2. Cancellous bone, synonymous with trabecular bone or spongy bone, is one of the two types of osseous tissue that form bones.
