As noted in class this week, Detail Sentences can be defined as sentences which add detail or 'meat' to sentences supporting the topic sentences. Whilst often 'detail sentences' ans 'supporting sentences' are regarded as the same thing or at least types of supporting sentences, there is a good case for treating them a separate type of sentence.For more information on 'detail sentences', check the links below.
