Grammar for Communication: Online ResourcesWeek 4 / Unit 3: The Futue 'will' and 'going to'

In the Grammar for Communication classes this week we looked at the future 'will' and 'going to.

As the people at englishgpage.com note: the 'Simple Future' has two different forms in English: "will" and "be going to." Although the two forms can sometimes be used interchangeably, they often express two very different meanings. ...Both "will" and "be going to" refer to a specific time in the future.
